One of the key developments is X Stays 2.0. Pinarello has refined its distinctive double-arm, four-point rear-stay design with a new lower attachment point. The revised arrangement is intended to distribute road vibration more effectively through the four connection points, while controlling rebound to produce a smoother and more settled ride.

The same philosophy continues at the front of the bike with the new elliptical steering tube. Fully integrated cable routing gives the X Series a clean, modern appearance, but the real purpose of the new steering design is increased torsional stiffness and front-end precision. Pinarello has deliberately not pursued aerodynamic optimisation with this shape; instead, the focus is on confident handling and stability, particularly when descending or riding over rougher roads.

BUILT FOR REAL WORLD RIDING

The new X Series also introduces a feature that makes a lot of sense for endurance riders: integrated downtube storage.

A dedicated access port houses a compact tool bag containing the essentials required to deal with a puncture. It keeps those important items on the bike without adding the clutter of a conventional saddle bag, maintaining the clean lines of the frame while adding genuine practicality.

Then there's the new adaptive seatpost, engineered with 10mm of longitudinal flex. Lighter and more efficient at absorbing vibration, it forms another part of Pinarello's approach to endurance comfort. Instead of relying on one component to isolate the rider from the road, the frame, rear triangle, seatpost and tyres are designed to work together.
