HYPT Bike Performance — Terms of Service
Last updated: 7.12.25
Welcome to HYPT Bike Performance. By using our website (hypt.bike) or purchasing our bikes, components, or services, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

2. What This Covers
These Terms apply whenever you:
-
Visit or browse our website;
-
Place an order for products (bikes, components, gear, etc.);
-
Book or purchase services (bike fitting, maintenance, custom builds, upgrades, tuning, etc.);
-
Receive products or services from us.
If you are under 18, you confirm you have permission from a parent or guardian to use our site or purchase from us.
3. Orders, Contract & Payment
-
Orders placed online are subject to our acceptance. We will confirm when your order is accepted.
-
You must pay for products or services in full before we deliver the goods.
-
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order — for example if there is a pricing or stock error, suspected fraud, or other valid reason.
4. Pricing & Product/Service Info
-
We aim to describe all products and services accurately (specifications, materials, expected delivery times, pricing including VAT etc.).
-
Images are illustrative: actual products may vary slightly.
-
We may change prices, services or specifications at any time — but confirmed orders will be honoured at the price shown at the time of order.
5. Distance Selling & Your Consumer Rights (UK)
Because you may buy from us online, UK law entitles you to certain protections:
-
You have a 14‑day “cooling-off” period that starts from the day after you receive the goods. You do not need to give a reason if you change your mind.
-
Once you notify us you wish to cancel, you have another 14 days to return the goods to us.
-
We will refund you in full ( excluding shipping charges ) within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
Please note: this right does not always apply — for example for bespoke/custom builds or services that begin with your agreement.
If goods are faulty, or don’t match their description, you may also have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (e.g. to a refund, repair or replacement) depending on the circumstances.
6. Delivery & Risk
-
We will dispatch goods promptly and aim to deliver within any timeframe stated; if no timeframe is given, we will deliver within 30 days.
-
Once you (or your chosen courier) receives the goods, the risk passes to you.
-
You are responsible for giving accurate delivery information; if incorrect details are provided, delivery may be delayed or cancelled.
7. Returns, Refunds & Cancellation
-
To cancel a goods order under the cooling-off period, you must notify us within 14 days of receiving the goods, then return the goods within 14 days.
-
Returned items must be unused, in original condition and packaging (except as required to inspect the goods).
-
We will refund the original payment method (unless you agree otherwise) — no extra fees or “restocking charges” will be applied.
-
For custom, bespoke or made-to-measure builds (bikes tailor-built to your specification), refunds or cancellations are only possible before production begins — because these goods are custom-made to order, they typically fall outside the automatic right to cancel.
8. Warranties & Liability
-
Where applicable, we provide any manufacturer warranties described in the product or service documentation.
-
We aim to supply services (maintenance, tuning, builds) to high standards.
-
Except where required by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g. lost riding time, transport costs, lost profits).
-
You agree that you will use bikes, components, and services safely and in accordance with manufacturer instructions and cycling law/regulation.
9. Intellectual Property
-
All website content — text, images, designs, logos — belongs to HYPT Bike Performance or our licensors.
-
You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written consent.
10. Data Protection & Privacy
-
We collect and process your personal data (name, contact details, address, payment info) in accordance with the law. [Link to Privacy Policy].
-
By using our website or placing an order you consent to the collection and use of your data as described.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update or amend these Terms occasionally. When we do, we’ll post the updated version on our website (with a new “Last updated” date). Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the new Terms.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms, and any contract between you and us, are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of England & Wales.
